• The Barracuda 36ES2 offers value, performance, and flexibility for entry-level SCSI applications. The Barracuda 36ES2 is the latest addition to the award-winning Barracuda 7,200 rpm disc drive family. This high-capacity, 18.4GB drive, is ideal for entry-level SCSI markets. It provides a maximum formatted internal transfer rate of 500Mb/s. The drive's Ultra160 Wide SCSI interface provides up to a 160MB/s transfer rate and cables 15 devices (up to 12 meters). Seagate's Advanced Multidrive System (SAMS) optimizes performance in server and RAID applications. G-Force Protection and SeaShell packaging protect the drive from external shock. Plus, drive's temperature sensor warns the host when temperatures exceed required limits.
